Supporting Indigenous Well-Being

By providing comprehensive and integrated services that address a wide range of needs, the District is committed to supporting indigenous well-being across all age groups. Through its programs, the District fosters youth development, promotes community cultural enrichment, and actively creates meaningful community engagement opportunities, particularly for disadvantaged individuals, the homeless, and veterans. In addition to these efforts, the District takes a proactive stance against substance abuse by offering both prevention programs and treatment services aimed at helping individuals reclaim their lives. Furthermore, the District offers vital support to survivors of domestic abuse, ensuring that vulnerable members of the communities it serves receive the care, protection, and resources they need to heal and rebuild.

The Missionary District of Turtle Island (the “District”), promotes and supports the emotional, physical, behavioral, and spiritual well-being of indigenous people(s) and indigenous communities, otherwise referred generally as the American Indian. (“American Indian”) herein means supporting indigenous well-being those indigenous to the western hemisphere of Mother Earth, from time to time referred to as the (“Indigenous People,” or Indigenous Peoples”) and where applicable as the “Indigenous Communities.”)
